And you made sure to run the installer as admin? Is this a personal machine or a work machine? Are you using a VPN or proxied connection of any kind? Additionally, are all the other components on the brave://components page up to date?

yes I am sure I ran it as admin, I dont have vpn or anything on. so there is no way I could just install that file alone?

yeah the widevine is the only issue. its only on brave, I have tried chrome and its working normally. I am using anti-virus yes.
