Ok this is a very weird, and specific issue that I had to double check to make sure was actually happening.
I have been testing a new ai called okara, some of you may have heard of it. I opened an account but also tried it without logging in.
In my default profile I searched for okara.ai (the site was not dark blue/purple in its title to suggest that it was in my history) and when I opened it it opened the last instance of my non logged in testing.
I opened a different profile, same thing, then I opened a private window, same thing again! So that’s 2 separate profiles AND a private tab all returning the same non logged in result? But here is where it gets super weird. It does it in normal brave also, same non logged in result!
How can this happen?
So to confirm:
Non logged in okara.ai test page
Opens in one profile
Same test page opens in a different profile
Same test page opens in a private window
Same test page opens in regular brave browser in multiple profiles.
I promise this isn’t a joke or wind up, how is this happening please. Is this a brave issue or is there something seriously wrong with the site??
To confirm, what exactly are you seeing when you say the “same test page”? Are you saying that the exact same question and answer appears on the page when you land on okara.ai in a [private window, fresh profile, etc]? Or are you referring to the chat history from previous queries that appears in the history section of the page (the “clock” icon)?
I mentioned that bug, in my only query there. The okara.ai response was: Sorry, that something-or-other-service is no longer (or not currently) available.
correct. I was using okara as a guest, had 2 separate chats in the guest profile. Closed out the tab and forgot about it. Maybe a week later i opened the website to be taken directly to the guest profile, same 2 chats. Swapped brave profiles, same 2 chats, switched to private window, same 2 chats again. Then moved to brave proper, same again. And most, if not all of these have “forget me” toggled
