“Forget me when I close this site” Enabled (Site-Specific Shields panel ← Lion icon; and also at: brave://settings/shields)
On exit, I clear: Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files, Autofill form data, and Hosted app data
So I avoid: The browser approaching a website, being only 90% familiar to a website that has a: match for credentials + appearance rating of 98-100% for a prior sign-on.
Better to be new.

Thanks for that. I’ve done a bit of digging here and found this is a long standing issue with Brave dating back to pre 2020.. Its only started for me recently. Mostly Ebay. I’ve just been using Chrome to finalize any purchase on any site…painful.. Ill give your solution a crack tomorrow
