Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Drag and dropping an URL or text into the tab bar to open a new tab / search it on the internet
  2. Coming back to the previous page results in it getting stuck most of the time
  3. Popups on the page still work normally but the main body of it can’t be accessed

Brave Version:

Brave 1.82.92 (Official Build) nightly (64-bit)

Been happening since many versions ago.

Websites can use JavaScript to restrict or block the ability of the browser’s Back button.

Sometimes, I have to use a website listed (in History pop-down menu) a bit further back.

And sometimes, doing that, followed by a Forward . . . gets the browser to the desired webpage that the frustrated Back button could not accomplish.

Perhaps Brave team member @fanboynz would know how to block a website JavaScript that is designed to restrict the browser’s Back button.

This isn’t really related I think, the page window itself seems to get stuck, even going on another URL on the same page window won’t unfreeze it, the only way is to close the page and open a new one (and this happens on any website not specific ones)

I will also have to add the following comment because I haven’t said this in the main post:
By “stuck” I’m talking about the fact that your “focus” seems to be on a non existing element and you can’t click on anything on the websites, but they do still function as they were before
