Open Bookmark within the Context of the Current Active Tab Group

*Currently a bookmark item by default is opened in a new tab at the end of the tab list. This breaks the flow for large tab lists, with many tab groups. Right now the user has to scroll a long ways to view this new tab.

Expecting: A user opens a new tab, to open the bookmarks, within an existing tab group. A click on a bookmark item should insert the opened page just below the bookmark tab, so the context is maintained.

Many years (decades) ago this used to be a feature in the FF tab extensions, and this is missing right now in Brave, the best browser of all times.*

Hello!

In Brave, bookmarks always open at the end of the tab list, which disrupts workflow with large tab groups. A useful feature would be for bookmarks to open right next to the current tab, preserving context—something older Firefox extensions once EZPassNC offered. Since Brave doesn’t support this yet, the best path is to request an “open bookmarks next to current tab” option through Brave’s community or GitHub.
