Not blocked ads in the video player

Description of the issue: When attempting to press any buton in the video player, ads open in a new tab repetitively. Note that it’s not 100% reproducible. I started writing this report yesterday, but stopped during testing incognito tab step, as it resolved the issue. Today ADs open even in incognito tab.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enter the exact URL link.
  2. Click “Odtwórz” (green button) next to Byse player.
  3. Left click on the player to start playing the video.
  4. Click on the player again to enter fullscreen or pause.
  5. Observe that the ads will continue to repetitively open in a new tab.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no) Yes

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? Apart of the ads not being blocked, yes.

Does the ad appear when using a Private window as well? (yes/no) Yes (see screenshot above)

What OS are you using when you see the ad? Windows 25H2 Build 26200.8037

Brave version (check About Brave): Brave 1.88.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Does changing your ad-block setting in Shields to Aggressive for the site make any difference?

No, it does not. Blocking scripts however disables the entire video player.

Update: Most likely temporary issue, however right now that video player stopped working entirely (regardless of shields being up or down) with following error (I presume due to the ads failing to load):

Seems to a site issue with the domain

Regardless what it was caused by, the ads are back up. The behavior is that it opens 5-6 consecutive advertisement in a new tab (all other tabs open are ads) triggered by mouse click anywhere in the player area before allowing to interact with the video player. The behavior comes back after few minutes cooldown.
