No support for WebGL2

Issue with your browser

Unfortunately, your current browser does not support WebGL2 which is essential for the functioning of Flightradar24. Please change to a supported browser and try again. WebGL2 is supported by most major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Opera.

I’m on Linux Fedora and Brave v1.90.121

I’ve got three posts about problems with Brave open and no answers, so that’s it. I might come back and look at it again in a couple of years.

Brave Browser supports WebGL2 , as it is built on the Chromium engine which natively includes this technology. However, many users encounter errors or compatibility issues where WebGL2 fails to load correctly, often due to specific system configurations or privacy settings.

Looks like other people are having lots of problems too, so I’ll stick with my decision to leave it then.

Review brave://gpu/ and compare the same on Chrome also.

I also have been getting this issue since March 10th of this year when trying to play something like 8ball or ‘Pudgy World’ (Club Penguin-like) and it doesn’t let me play because “WebGL2 is not supported”.

I also tried to get into a browser-based video editor just now and also get the issue there.

Currently on Windows 11, btw.

Opera, Vivaldi, chromium which I think are all Chrome based browsers have some similar problems.
