No audio Linux Mint 18

Description of the issue:
Videos on social media sites such as Facebook and Youtube have no audio.
Audio works fine in Firefox. I’m hoping to move to brave from Firefox.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to youtube
  2. play a video
  3. There is no sound

Expected result:
I expect to have normal audio, like other applications.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.8.86 Chromium: 81.0.4044.129 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Operating System: Linux Mint 18.3
Kernel: Linux 4.15.0-99-generic
Architecture: x86-64

Hope we can get the audio going, otherwise I’ll have to go back to Firefox, but I really WANT to use Brave.
