Feature Request: Easier navigation for Top Sites on the New Tab page
My requested feature is for the New Tab page, specifically the Top Sites area. It really needs a few more customization options.
I keep quite a few saved top sites, and the small gray slide bubble is very inconvenient to click. That makes accessing the second page of top sites feel tedious. I actually find this saved sites section extremely useful, so a quality of life rework here would be highly appreciated.
My suggestion is a small redesign of the navigation buttons. Keep the same style, but make them much longer in width and thicker in height. That simple change would make the second page way easier to reach. Right now the inconvenience is bad enough that I do not even use the second page. I just keep deciding which sites to remove to make room for others.
I was also thinking: if my cursor is hovering over the Top Sites area, scrolling the mouse wheel should move them all like a slider. It could either jump straight to the next page or even better slide continuously as if all the double stacked sites are sitting on one long horizontal slider that you are just scrolling through.
If this could also sync to mobile devices, that would be amazing!
(Just some quick context: I am your typical Brave user. I have actually been using Brave since or even before 2020. I frequently look things up and seriously favor the Premium search over anything else. I have spent a long time with the browser interface, so it finally got to the point where I went to Settings → Help, discovered this community page, made an account, and posted this.)
I believe it should be seriously considered.
