# New tab doesn't open in same group

**Description of the issue:**  
New tab doesn’t open in same group even when "Only open links in current tab group " option is enabled.  
**How can this issue be reproduced?**

1. Select any link/image in a tab.
2. Hold it and press “Open (link/image) in new tab”.
3. It will open in new tab separately, but not in same group.

**Expected result:**  
Tabs should have been opened in same group.  
**Brave Version( check `About Brave`):**  
Brave 1.57.62, Chromium 116.0.5845.180  
**Mobile Device details**  
Android 9; Build/PPR1.180610.011  
**Additional Information:**  
It’s occuring since last two updates, please fix it. It’s really annoying.
