So I installed Brave for my partner on Mac and encouraged them to use it. Things were working fine until suddenly they told me they can’t use it anymore because it’s to slow.
I verified and indeed it’s become unsuably slow suddenly, while Chrome is blazing fast. Creating new profile and toggling hardware acceleration doesn’t work.
I deactivated filters and extensions but nothing changes. But the worst is, I searched for a solution online and this problem seem to have been around for more than…5 years with no clear answer or troubleshoot as to what the behavior might be due to.
Having problems of my own, albeit more advanced one, I’m considering changing a park of 30 computers to another browser if even a simple installation can get corrupted for no seeming reason with no clear answer available…
