@SaltyPear86,
First step would be to figure out what policies are enabled. Can you please share what you see when you go to your `brave://policy`?

Welcome to the digital prison.

I have a good video to show everyone what awaits us.

This has been going on for a while, but now it’s getting worse.

They control EVERYTHING, not just your browsers.

I would do the following:

**1)** In the Windows Registry Editor, check “_Computer\HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\BraveSoftware\Brave_” for a file/folder termed “ **ExtensionAllowList** ” and delete it.

**2)** Restart Windows and see if it appears in the Windows registry again.

If it doesn’t appear in the Windows registry now then:

**1)** Go to `brave://policy` then ensure it is not showing here either

**2)** Now, let’s ensure Brave allows you to enable **Secure DNS**

Let’s go re-check RegEdit for same info:

**1)** Go to Windows Group Policy Editor by searching for “_Edit Group Policy_”

**2)** See if there’s a Brave section with the following path:

```auto
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Brave
```

**3)** If there is, find the “_Configure extension installation allow list_” Group Policy setting under _[Brave \> Extensions_] and set it to “Not Configured”. Should resolve this.
_If the issue persists, then you’d have to find the source of the registry edit addition and remove it_

I hope this helps!
