Description of the issue:today i noticed that my “top/favorite” pages were moved, along with the search bar on the home page. i tried several things to move it back to the left side where it was prior as i prefer that look overall, but it would appear im missing “how” or its just gone all together. while im not 100% this fits in desktop support, its indeed a windows “question/issue” im having. How can this issue be reproduced?
going to the home page?
checking recent-top/favorite sites- adding image here to perhaps help understand what im talking about. *tried finding what i was looking for online and in forums but came up short, possibly due to my wording/how i asked the question.
Expected result:being able to return the top/favorite’s to its prior spot.
@craxton this is the new design. This isn’t a bug or anything.
Even just reading through the most recent would have been enough. But otherwise it’s good just to use simple terms, like “new tab page” or “top sites” to see what it comes, always sorting by most recent.
I hate this new design, very much and hope they add the option to “move” it. -side note- if im searching something, i hadnt went further than the actual icon on the top. i see now i must if i aim to find what im looking for. either way, still prefer if it were a bug. home screen looks naked now and out of place imo. ~thanks for the answer, and thanks for showing me about caret browsing.
i also hope this “feature flag” stays! again, thank you for pointing me to this. if i could merge i would as i see its asked/answered!
