More regions, fast.. please

I’ve really liked brave and have tried to swap to brave as my default for so many years already. But it is disappointing that regions are still added almost never, or at an extremely slow case.

For my region of Singapore, I’m so surprised its so slow! Even my neighbouring country Malaysia has it and Singapore is thought to be more forward looking/advance in terms of technology! I don’t understand why we are left out for so long.

Just makes it barely usable. More regions need to be added ASAP. Because even after it is added, users like us still need to keep using to train brave to display better results. But sometimes its completely impossible and I have to still keep reverting to Google Results. This sucks, especially after YEARS of wait and using Brave.

I completely agree.

I don’t know how much what I wrote is related to this topic, but adding new regions could also improve the search results in minority languages ​​such as Serbian, which is my native language. As with most similar languages ​​that do not have many speakers nor are promoted by their countries (regardless of origin, region, grammar, script, etc.), the results are sometimes inaccurate, and sometimes there are none at all. Google Fallback is not that helpful. Of course, comparing it to Google is pointless because we know how personalized search results are shown there.

Also, the Brave Discovery Project is a great thing and it should also include results from other search engines that someone uses in to the Brave if that option is enabled. In addition to the Mojeek, it is not bad to rely on other private search engines (DDG, Startpage, Qwant, Dogpyle…) for better results, and perhaps even possible cooperation if the goals are the same or at least similar. Moreover, I think that the Brave Discovery Project should also include AI answers, and be used to improve Leo to make the experience even better and more user-friendly.
