For about 3 days now, I’ve been experiencing a constant crashing and reloading issue with my Brave browser for Android, which persists even after the latest update.
- Problem Description:
The browser crashes or displays the error “Oh no! An error occurred while displaying the webpage.” (screenshot attached) constantly.
This happens approximately every 5-10 seconds of use, regardless of the page.
To continue browsing, I have to repeatedly refresh the page, and even that doesn’t always work.
The problem is so severe that I can’t even load the Brave support page (support.brave.app/…).

Brave Version: 1.85.116 Chromium: 143.0.7499.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Device: Oscal C80
Operating System: Android (Please add your exact Android version if you know it). -
Troubleshooting Steps Already Attempted (Unsuccessful):
I have tried clearing the cache and cookies.
I have updated to the latest version (1.85.116).
I have verified that browsing works correctly in another browser (Opera GX), confirming that the problem is specific to Brave. -
Limitation: I am concerned about deleting browser data (profile information, etc.), so I haven’t tried reinstalling or deleting all application data.
Please help me resolve this serious stability issue.
