And this is the size of the cookie immediately after deleting the previous giant and logging in to the Brave forum again. A lot, just for logging in.

HI there - I did read over the article on Reddit - essentially, it seems to be an issue in the base code that Brave was forked from, so it’s a kindof legacy issue.

What seems to happen is that the actual space is not taken on your hard drive- it seems to be an issue of the size increases in the visual interface, but is not actually building up that data. Which is presumably why there’s no discernable difference when you remove it. Seems the issue has been raised with the developers, so may disappear with updates.
