Major intermittent UI bug

Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. For this reason, we have provided the template below for you to fill out with information about your issue. Please provide as much detail as possible so we can most efficiently resolve your problem.

Description of the issue: Intermittent issue with the search bar/etc (see photo) I suspect has something to do with Brave Browser’s ability to detect and adapt to the IOS OSK popup.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Switch between a couple windows with your keyboard open on a specific condition and observe it happen. This section of the report is honestly unhelpful.

  2. Users should be on the look out for this bug, document it and report it.

Re the OP’s iPhone (Brave Search - Answer with AI):

The iPhone 13 model number A2633 is the global variant of the device, designated for sale in regions outside the United States, Canada, China, and Russia. It was released on September 14, 2021, and features the Apple A15 Bionic chip, a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, and supports 5G connectivity.

The OP’s issue: See the screenshot.

Quite the opposite – it’s one of the most helpful parts of the template. It helps support staff test and [attempt to] reproduce the issue so that we can get a clear picture of what the bug/issue/error looks like, how it’s produced, and perform further tests with different conditions – all of which will in turn help our developers resolve the issue.

At this time I’m not seeing this issue but I also do not know how to trigger it. “Switch between windows with your keyboard open a specific condition” isn’t very descriptive. I also am unclear about what you mean when you say “windows” – do you mean tabs? Or apps on your phone? How exactly are you swapping between [windows/tabs/apps] with your keyboard open (since it typically closes when you do any of those actions)?
