macOS - option-o is not working

Description of the issue:
option-o is overtaken by Brave, so that it cannot be used for writting locale specific characters, e.g. Ó in Polish

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. use macOS Sequoia
  2. set keyboard layout to Polish
  3. press option-o in a text field within Brave (e.g. URL bar)
  4. nothing happens

Expected result:
Outputs letter Ó (lowercase)

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave is up to date
Brave 1.80.120 (Official Build) (arm64)
Chromium: 138.0.7204.101

Additional Information:
It works in any other program except for Brave, other chromium-based browsers not tested.

note: option-o does nothing in Brave, it’s not that it serves some purpose - the shortcut is just bugged, Brave prevents using option-o in a regular manner (to compose locale specific characters) for no reason.

Vivaldi 7.5.3735.47 (Stable channel) (arm64) (chromium 138)
is not affected, issue is specific to Brave.
