On iOS we can easily change app icons and they adapt well across different system styles.
On macOS Tahoe with Liquid Glass there are multiple appearance modes and one static icon does not fit all of them.
The same Brave icon can look fine in one way but feel out of place in another theme such as tinted or Liquid Glass.
Brave app on iOS handles this better because icon customization gives users flexibility and consistency.
Having a similar app icon change option on macOS allow users to adjust brave in between there other apps without going out of the visual hierarchy.
This looks awesome it’s minimal and Not going into bottom of the boundaries while on MacOS it’s mess for my theme and bottom padding is totally out of the design.
BTW, I am Sr. UI/UX Designer with 7Y experience and also know development I’m pretty sure this won’t be very hard to implement if MacOS allows this and this will help Brave gain most prime space in users Doc.
