Hey there, I’m here to help.

If you happen to have

Dark Reader “ver4.9.106”

disabling that extension may solve your issue. Please let me know if that worked. if not try disabling other ones you have till you solve it.

best of luck!

I have Dark Reader and it always worked fine. But now, disabling it on LinkedIn worked. Do you know if there’s some workaround to this? I tried tweaking the settings but nothing changed. The only option is to disable it, and it’s weird because it always worked.

EDIT:
Well I just find out that LinkedIn itself has a native dark mode, so I can just enable it and it should be fine. Somewhat the problem is solved. Thanks a lot!

I’m glad that worked!

I had the same issue and I tried everything from a new browser to downgrading chromium version, so far I’ve just asked the developer of the extension to look into it, hopefully they’ll get to it. In the mean time I’ll try to check the innerworkings of the extension to see what might be the problem and report back

Edit:
Next best thing to do is have Dark reader “On click” instead of “On all sites” under site access. This can be found under “Details” section under the extension itself in brave://extensions/. This will have it so you need to click in order to have it work on LinkedIn and any other site that needs it. Sort of like a reverse Exclude function.

I hope you’ll succeed in finding the root of the issue with Dark Reader.
Anyway, with Dark Reader you can also deactivate the extension in that specific website by simply clicking the DR ext. icon and deactivating the current website. Much more simpler, so you can have it always on except for the websites you want or need it to stay off.

just a heads up, the extension has been updated and not works with LinkedIn
