There is a random “Liking Brave?” popup on Android that appears after a while, seemingly at random. There are only two emojis in response and nothing else.
While you can tap out of that popup, it apparently does not stop the popup from potentially appearing again. This seems to suggest that the only “permanent” way to dismiss this popup is to give an affirmative answer one way or another.
I habitually do not review software just because I am asked to. I do find the practice tacky In general, and it might dissuade me from making an honest, unbiased, unprompted review otherwise. The recurring nature of this popup seems to suggest that it won’t take a lack of response as an answer.
I ask that this feature either stay in the settings menu so those who want to provide feedback can do so, or at an absolute maximum, only appear one time ever regardless of if it’s dismissed. Otherwise I’d have to schedule periodic reinstalls of the app just to prevent this from popping up again.
