Please don’t do this without giving the option to disable it in private tabs just like how extensions can be enabled in private tabs. (ideally opt-in or ask on first use)

@Mattches

Granted that I would probably, rarely use Leo AI, but I was wondering, why Leo AI is not available in a Brave Browser Private Window?

I did find:

> <https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/43439>

> \### Platforms
>
> all, Linux, macOS, Windows
>
> \### Description
>
> It'd be nice if user…s could enable Leo AI in Private browsing windows.
>
> Maybe there could be a setting to enable this?

@hamir ← cc (on chance, same fellow who posted that issue)

PS note to self, and for anybody else who “has no clue” on how to get started using Leo AI:

Good to know:

> The first time using the product you will be asked to opt-in. The product is not active nor accessible and does not work nor communicate any data **until you confirm that you understand what you are opting into**.
