I noticed that I can navigate with f6 key to bookmarks bar like in most other browsers, when I have folder in bookmarks folder I was also able to open but not enter to it using arrow keys.
I would like to see brave work like the other browsers, so that I can navigate and select bookmark using arrow keys and enter key, the way it works in most other browsers.

@alr2d4 I’m a bit confused. I just hit F6 to get to my bookmark bar and then was able to scroll around using just my arrow keys. When I highlighted a folder I was able to press down to go into the contents of the folder which had extended. Everything worked perfectly. Then if I hit enter while it highlighted a bookmark, it would open the bookmark
What are you saying doesn’t happen?
Tested it again, I don’t see anything selected, when I press enter to open folder, when I press arrows to select, I don’t see the selection change inside the folder, but when I press enter the bookmark is actually selected and it goes to that address. So to me, it is not showing the selected link.
Tried again in dark mode. Now I can see the selected items. So to me when it is in the Light mode I cannot tell what item is selected, when I press arrow keys. It seems to work fine otherwise. Sorry, I did not test it properly.
@alr2d4 I appreciate you for responding. Just to confirm, you’re saying it is working but the issue is that you found it difficult to see it in light mode, right? This in itself is good feedback and something that I know the devs can consider. But I want to make sure I’m understanding that correctly.
Yes, exactly. Difficult to see selected item in light mode.
@Mattches think similar feedback is on the radar, but tagging just in case. I’ve been seeing people say they have difficulty seeing which tab is actively being used, and now is idea of OP saying the color differentiation here when going through bookmarks bar doesn’t stand apart enough.
Not sure if there’s a way to have a bigger color differentiation or perhaps clearer customization?
@alr2d4 can you share a quick screenshot of what it looks like when an item is highlighted? I can open an issue/suggestion to make the highlighted item more obvious but I’d like to make sure there’s nothing else going on on your end.
