Keyboard freezing for version v1.80.115

Description of the issue:
After upgrading to the latest linux version (as of last week), the keyboard stopped working in Brave. Whether one types in the Brave search bar, website form fields, or settings, the keyboard stops working after typing in 1-10 characters.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Upgrade to linux Brave v1.80.115 or above
  2. Open Brave
  3. Type in the search bar

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Only 1-10 characters can be entered before no further characters can be typed in the current Brave session.

Expected result:
The keyboard continues to work past 1-10 characters for the current session

Reproduces how often:
Every time

Yes, still running into the issue.

Can you please try creating a fresh browser profile (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile) and tell me if the issue occurs there as well (make sure you close your original profile window when testing)?
