# Is there a way to receive BAT rewards without using Uphold?

Hi guys, I’m a new Brave user here,  
since I didn’t see similar topic popping up with my question, I decided to start a new one instead.

So, I live in a country where I can’t register for Uphold, but I’d like to receive rewards and support the team by using the browser, is there a way I can receive the BAT rewards with my other wallet, or maybe a local wallet instead? I tried creating a local wallet with the “Crypto wallet” option from the browser, but I can’t seem to link it with the brave browser.
