Briefly describe your issue: 2 months running and it seems no payout is coming through. I odn’t know if the 70-90 ads I’ve accrued each month is just surmounting to a really insignificant amount or I’ve not connected Brave wallet correctly ,after paying to setup a Solana wallet, which felt odd but I presumed it’d cover itself in a couple of months, which now seems like a complete waste.
There’s so many posts on this forum about people not getting payments, and there seems to be a total lack of sensible support (why even have the forum if no support is provided?!) on most posts.
Did I just miss the boat and should just use a different browser, as Brave Rewards was the real reason I use it as a daily.
What Operating System and Brave version are you using? (Menu --> About Brave)
Who is your verified custodian? (Uphold/Gemini/bitFlyer) ? I used Brave wallet and was guided to setup a Solana wallet, which I feel was a waste of money.
Are you in a supported region? (see here for list of supported regions) Think so, UK.
At least I now know why there’s no support in the previous queries…gaslighting is easier in private. I guess I’m way too late to the Brave Rewards party as whatever they say has been transferred doesn’t reflect in my Brave Wallet. Utter scam running it like users will actually gain something.
Basically, what actually counts, are advertisements for which Brave gets paid by the advertiser.
" The rewards counter fails to increase because not all displayed ads generate BAT earnings . Specifically, the counter only increments for paid ads that Brave has been paid to display; ads promoting Brave’s own products are classified as “house ads” and pay 0 BAT , thus not increasing the counter or rewards."
It’s nothing to do with ads not being counted, its that paltry amount that gets “paid” out which surmounts to dust! Brave is keeping any revenue for 3rd-party ads or the amount Brave gets paid is dust. You’re flogging a dead horse and I’m not going to bite at any more attempts to drag me along. The last straw will will be when I’m proven right when the July payout “gets paid” and there’s still about $0.30 in my Brave wallet (which is left over from me opening a fucking Sol account just for this purpose. Sling your shite at somebody else’s post, they may not have lost faith already.
Brave does not disclose a fixed percentage of total payouts allocated to individual users, as Brave Rewards earnings are not determined by a share of a global pool but are instead tied directly to the ad revenue generated in a user’s specific region.
Revenue Split: Brave distributes 70% of the ad revenue from user-viewed ads to the users who viewed them, with the remaining 30% retained by Brave Software.
Variable Earnings: The amount an individual receives fluctuates monthly based on ad campaign availability, CPM rates, and the number of ads viewed, rather than a fixed percentage of total company payouts.
No Guaranteed Share: Because payouts depend on local advertiser demand and viewing limits, there is no standardized percentage of total payouts that applies to every user; earnings vary significantly by region and usage.
