Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced
-
open Brave on iPad.
-
type in a URL
-
Verify that URL page is showing a website
-
In settings verify that there is no option enabled that would wipe, close, or not restore tabs on exit
-
use the red x to close Brave
-
open Brave and verify that the URL of your choice is no longer displayed, and instead there is a single blank tab.
-
Look at that the recently closed tabs in history, and verify that not one of the tabs that Brave closed, but didn’t restore, is in the list.
Expected result:
If there are no settings to wipe or not restore on close, previously open tabs should be restored. Plus that any closed tab will be in the recently closed tab history
Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.91.1 (181)
Mobile Device details: iPad Air ios 26.5.2
Additional Information: if you swipe up and close Brave that way, all open tabs restore which is the expected behavior. The number of open tabs on close doesn’t matter. Nothing is restored. And there is no way to reopen all closed tabs via history because for some reason none of the tabs Brave closed are in the history.
