Instructions for Clearing Aw Snap Call for Non-existing setting

The Aw Snap error is popping up on a site I am developing.

The fix I find by searching the web, an answer comes up that is impossible to use, because it says to go to a place in settings that does not exist.

If you could please explain the correct place to find the correcting action settings, I would be immensely grateful.

FAULTY INSTRUCTIONS TO FIX

follow these primary troubleshooting steps:

  • Clear Site Data: Go to Menu → Settings → Privacy and Security → Site and shields settings → Cookies and site data and remove data for the specific affected site.

When I go to:

  • Clear Site Data: Go to Menu → Settings → Privacy and Security → Site and shields settings

There is nothing there for

  • Cookies and site data and remove data for the specific affected site.

According to Brave Search (Answer with AI):

View permissions and data stored across sites is a feature in Brave Browser that allows users to manage privacy settings for websites they have previously visited.

Located under Settings > Privacy and Security > Site and shields settings, this section provides a comprehensive list of all sites that have stored data or been granted specific permissions on the user’s device.

Users can interact with this list to clear individual cookies and site data for specific websites, effectively resetting their session without affecting other sites.

Additionally, it serves as a central hub to revoke or adjust permissions (such as location, camera, or microphone access) for individual domains.

This feature was moved from a more prominent location in recent updates, requiring users to navigate through the Site and shields settings menu to access the full list of stored data.
