Currently, accessing Leo (Brave Al) on the mobile app opens a full new tab. This breaks the browsing flow, as users must leave their current page completely to interact with the Al and then navigate back to find where they were.
Proposal: Instead of a full tab, implement a Slide-up Panel (Bottom Sheet) that opens from the bottom of the screen, covering roughly 50% of the viewport height.
Benefits:
Context Preservation: Users can keep their current webpage visible in the background.
Faster Workflow: A quick tap opens Leo to ask a question, the panel slides down automatically, and the user continues browsing immediately.
Better UX: This is a standard pattern in modern mobile assistants (similar to Google Assistant or specific chat interfaces) and would make Leo feel more like a helpful overlay rather than a separate destination.
Please consider adding 's option to the mobile app or the settings menu for Leo access.
