I have a big problem with my bookmarks. Please help me fix it.

Hi, yesterday I opened my laptop and found that my bookmarks were not the same as I left them. So I deleted them and hid them, and now I can’t get them back or do anything. Those bookmarks used to save me a lot of time, and I’ve been using the browser for years and never changed it. Thank you.
