How to Reattach Dev Tools to the Main Browser Window

Hi everyone,

I’ve searched in several places but haven’t been able to find an answer to this simple question.

How can I make the Developer Tools window appear attached to the main browser (for example, docked to the right side)? It used to be that way by default, but one day it changed, and now Dev Tools always open in a separate window. I can’t find the setting that controls whether Dev Tools are docked or detached.

@carla_rogers top right of dev tools has a hamburger menu. Click it and you should see options like below:

Far left is to undock in separate window. Then the others is to decide whether to dock on the left side, bottom, or right side of the window.
