The problem is not about updating, it is that you can’t run any Chromium browser anymore… Windows 7 is not supported and it will not work unless you are on win 10+

Windows 10 is free, upgrade to it, Windows 10 is better than 7 anyway… or you can even go 11 if you want, I think 11 is better than 10 as well, you use Rufus to get 10 or 11 easily.
