How Do I reset my Brave Password?

I think the password it is prompting for is you macOS password, not a Brave password.

Hi, there, @jmkozak. Could you post an image of the dialog that pops up? I suspect it’s actually asking for your Keychain Access or macOS user account password, but I’ve been using a third party password manager for so long I don’t remember if Brave has its own. The easiest way is when the dialog is up, press Shift-Cmd-4, then draw a box around it with your mouse/trackpad. You nailed it! I tried my MacOS password and it opened right up. Thank you SO much this has been so annoying. Actions for anyone else with this dilemma the order is settings additional settings autofill (at the bottom) passwords from there you can click on the 3 dots to get copy/edit/remove options and you’ll get prompted to log in. As noted it wants your Mac password not​ your Brave password as I had assumed. Interestingly it only prompts once to log in or I’d add a screenshot.
