How do I make an initial Solana deposit into brave so I can use it for rewards?

I don’t know how to deposit a small amount of SOL or how to open my BAT account. Do I need to have a Solana wallet or simply own Solana in my Brave wallet? Is there an easier choice, like maybe Bitcoin? I created my wallet and read the instructions below. I am stuck.

Same issue . I tried everything to get free sol I can’t . Faucets are just legitimate scams they use us as free labour’s to earn . They give us very small amount of points daily and ask for thousands if points as minimum withdrawal amount. With gas fee I can’t make bat wallet
