When I try to take screenshots, everything turns to whitish / washed out. This is happening only when HDR is active. Firefox on the other hand, works normally when I try to take screenshots. I tried with Windows Snipping Tool and Snagit. Windows 11 24H2, Brave 1.71.123 ---

Open the Properties of your brave launcher from the start menu by searching brave, r-clicking, and select Open File Location. Then you r-click Brave and select Properties. Go the Compatibility Settings tab and select the Button at the bottom that says High DPI settings. The of the story is the attached picture. Just check both of those boxes and restart your browser. ---

@Kimchi you’ve been silent a bit. Wanted to tag to see if you’re having issues still. Never a good comparison. Would more or less need to know if you have the issue with Chrome, so as to find out if it’s a Chromium issue or more downstream to be Brave specific. Beyond that usually would be good to find things like if the issue persists in private window, if you’ve tried in a new profile, etc. ---

Sorry for the delay. I tried with Edge, and I am able to take screenshots without issues. With Brave I changed DPI settings as jcyree mentioned but colors are washed out. In Private Window there was no changes to colors either. Still HDR is broken on Brave. It happens only on bright background but functions normally on dark pages like Brave Community pages. ---
