Gboard autocorrect not working

Description of the issue:
Gboard does not autocorrect spelling issues within Brave

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Quickly typing a word such as “triger”’
  2. The correct word “trigger” will appear in the word bar of Gboard.
  3. Does not autocorrect
  4. In other apps such as Google Keep or Outlook, autocorrect functions correctly.

Expected result:
Example is that it should autocorrect to “trigger” when shown on Gboard

Brave 1.61.116, Chromium 120.0.6099.217

Additional Information:
Have attempted changing between two variants of the English keyboard.
