I would like to suggest a change based on something I’ve encountered while using the Brave browser on Android. When watching videos in fullscreen mode, a popup appears at the bottom of the screen that says: “Drag from top and touch the back button to exit full screen.” This popup significantly disrupts the viewing experience, especially when I just want an immersive fullscreen mode without any distractions. It would be greatly appreciated if Brave could provide an option to disable this message entirely.
I agree that this toast message is VERY annoying. It should be possible to disable it permanently on Android (as it is already possible under Windows).
This request has already been made a lot of times, but the topics are systematically closed without any action to solve the problem. Why? It is certainly very easy to add a setup to hide that terrible toast message. Please do it!
@r0lZ can you share some of those many requests for this?
@Rielu does the message disappear after a few seconds after entering full screen mode? Or does it stay on screen forever?
It disappears after a few seconds when entering fullscreen mode, but it still gives me a distraction, especially when watching a video that has a subtitle in it because this popup will cover over it.
