Is there a way I export the content of the brave password managed, so I can store a copy offline?

Yes. Depends what OS you’re wanting to do.
On android →
Go to brave settings → password manager → click on the three vertical dots near the top right corner and choose export.

On windows
Go to brave settings → autofill and passwords → password manager → click on the three vertical dots near the add Button and click on export passwords
