Description of the issue:
Full screen reminder to press Esc on exit showing even with the option disabled.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
That is a known bug in the recent builds. To fix it right now, go to flags and search for Press and hold Esc to exit browser fullscreen. Set that flag to Disabled and relaunch.
This is not a flag that exists on Brave, or any Chromium based browser that I know of. What’s the source for this?

Not here on Windows, but I’ll try my Linux VM’s. That setting absolutely is working just fine here. Where’s the source for this?
@HOOX00 I’ll try and reproduce in my Linux VM’s for you and see if I can determine if it should be working on Linux or not. For now, what DE are you using? I’m going to try Gnome and KDE (I also have Cosmic, but since you’re on Arch, not sure if you’re using that or not, but will try as well).
Ran my tests:
KDE: Setting works as intended. Cannot reproduce.
Gnome/Ubuntu: Setting works as intended. Cannot reproduce.
PopOS Cosmic: Setting works as intended. Cannot reproduce.
So let’s do some troubleshooting. First, let’s try some things to see if we can isolate where the issue may lie.
With the toggle off (so it doesn’t show the nag):
Try a private window. Does the behavior change?
If a private window works, try disabling some extensions (especially those not set to run in private windows).
Try creating a new profile in Brave temporarily. Does the behavior change in the other profile?
We can go from there, but other things you could try as well:
I likely won’t be able to get to it soon since it’s 2am and I gotta do Christmas stuff in the morning (I’m just a user too, trying to help as the devs are away on Christmas), but I’ll see if I can get a VM setup similar to yours and reproduce it. I’m not sure of what else to try, as while I used to use Linux since 1999, I stopped using it at the tail end of X11, so X11 is all I know, not Wayland.
(It would be nice for me to get caught up with them in the VM’s some day and learn it a bit more personally.)
