Are you on Windows? I had the same problem for a long time but now it seems it’s gone. See this:

Brave always creates a debug.log file in my Desktop

As the title says, Brave always creates a debug.log file in my Desktop (version 1.17.75 on Windows 10). The file can only be deleted after I close Brave. At the moment, the content of the file is [1206/151318.251:ERROR:directory_reader_win.cc(43)] FindFirstFile: Impossibile trovare il percorso specificato. (0x3) (it’s in Italian)

PS: be sure to use Brave 1.18.77
