I have a monthly scheduled call with my board. This month, I rescheduled that call to today but when I entered the room, I was not the moderator. I was told that if it says “Start premium call” I am logged in. In this case, I was unable to create a lobby and more importantly, unable to record the call or get a transcript of the call. This is a HUGE problem for me. How can I call I schedule with my premium link put someone else as moderator??? This should NEVER happen unless I appoint someone else moderator!
@B-Lee this seems to be your vertical. Can you help with this? At no time should anyone else be the moderator of a call I schedule unless I appoint them. According to what I have been told, I was logged in so how could this happen?
@jjones was it the case that someone else in the call was the moderator? Or did you just not have mod privileges? Additionally have you done this before successfully and entered the call as as mod?
Yes, one of the other participants was moderator or at least he could see the record button at the top of the screen and I could not. He has ZERO tech skills so was unable to record the call or do the transcripts or create a lobby.
I am confused on how it can be my premium link but I am not the moderator when I log in. It did say I was logged in or at least said start a premium call.
Yes, this has been on our books for months so I would have multiple times since created. Today was the first time I was not moderator. Two of my team did make the call before me but I had someone get on before me before with no ill effects.
I started using Talk for our monthly calls last November with no change to the meeting room.
