I just installed v1.94.117 (Linux) and now can no longer delete or edit “On startup” page URLs!
See the screenshot below, showing that screen - Settings → Get started> → On startup → Open a specfic page or set of pages - where you’ll see that the “Edit” and “Remove” options which should show at the right-hand margin aren’t there!
This is a simple CSS bug! All along, the window for these URLs has been too narrow. Now, that’s been made wider…BUT the ability to edit or delete page URLs has disappeared!
I was super stoked to find the Brave browser a few years ago and try to support it however I can. It’s so important to have a “browser alternative” like Brave, based on Chromium, but without all the over-the-top surveillance built into Chrome. I liked Firefox for many years, but Gecko isn’t so great and I don’t much trust Mozilla management much anymore.
I’m sure there are many others out there, like me, constantly adding, deleting and removing “on startup” pages. It provides better day-to-day continuity either than using the same startup pages or “Use current pages” so IMO it’s important to get the startup URL “Edit” and “Remove” functionality working again!
Really annoying you can’t “Edit” or “Remove” startup URLs in the current Brave release!
Meanwhile, I just did some quick tinkering and found that the name of the element that presents the two ellipsis dots - with “Edit” and “Remove” options - is named cr-icon-button. It has the CSS class “icon-more-vert” applied to it. The element is in a FLEX container with explicit POSITION and OVERFLOW settings.
Changes to some combo of those properties should keep the dots onscreen.
It’s not happening here … I’m using Brave Beta and it works for me. Of course, I never use that feature, but I tried it.
Went to settings, then “On Startup”, and selected “Open a specific page…”, added a URL, then exited Brave.
Started Brave again, and the webpage showed up.
Went back to Settings, “Open a specific page…”, and for the recent addition, I clicked the “:” at the right-side, and selected Edit - I edited the URL, then exited Brave.
Started Brave again, and the edited webpage showed up.
I will mention an “oddity”. I went back to Settings, “Open a specific page…”, and for the recent addition, I did NOT see the “:” option (now second time to edit it). However, I thought, “I’ll bet it IS there, but it’s not visible”.
So I slowly moved my mouse pointer to the far right side of the newly-added entry, and YES, we can see that the “:” is hidden, but I see the “description” pop-up … so I clicked it … and BOOM, the menu showed up … see the screenshots below for further visual evidence.

For everyone here experiencing this, @Evan123 opened and shared an issue for this above, so it is clearly not being ignored.
The issue appears to be specific to Linux systems so the issue likely isn’t very “widespread” at all. Further, on my end using my Ubuntu VM I don’t see this issue at all:
Okay, I’ve been doing quite a bit of testing, using both Brave Beta and Stable.
I have been able to recreate the issue. At least, I can, ONLY if the URL’s descriptive text goes beyond the entry’s far right side.
If the URL’s descriptive text is short in length, the issue does NOT show up.
Me? I use the openSUSE Leap distro. (releases 15.6 to 16.1-beta).

So here … I show a screenshot showing an entry that has a lengthy description (the openSUSE one). Notice there are no “:” menu displayed.

So, I have a Lenovo laptop with Win10 (using Extended Support edition), which I haven’t used in about a month. So, I thought I’d test there, as I do have Brave installed on it. Clicked Help → About to show version:
Brave is up to date
Brave 1.94.121 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 152.0.7977.83
And so I did the same test I did with Brave on my openSUSE Linux system. I added two entries - the same entries I did on my openSUSE machine.
Guess what? I can recreate the “there is no “:” menu colon displayed”. However, it ONLY occurs if the Descriptive text for any website entry is a too long.
If the Descriptive text is short (or non-existent) , the issue does NOT show up.
And I did the same, easy workaround … I simply moved my mouse slowly to the right of an entry … and the “:” menu showed up for both entries.
After I deleted the “openSUSE” entry, which has the overly-long Descriptive text, the problem does not exist. See screenshots. So, even Windows users can workaround.

Even with a short URL, there is no menu colon. NOTHING appears when I
move the mouse slowly to the right of an entry.
I stumbled onto something that worked for me. I pressed the Tab key 3
times and the menu colon magically appears!
I created five entries, with different entry lengths. When I went to look … yes, no colon menus.
So I tapped the TAB key (never used mouse), and when the selection cursor hit the first colon menu, all five menus showed up!
Plus, the cursor selection highlighter showed where it is (the circle - I did not add that circle). So, I know I’m at the first menu. And if I tap ENTER key, the first menu will pop open.
