Disconnecting from Uphold

I am getting a computer replacement at work. If I click on “Disconnect from Brave Rewards” under “Wallet Verified” on my old computer, will that free up a slot to let me link the browser on my new computer? I am already at the maximum 4 slots. Thanks!

Unforntuely not, the wallet may disconnect but the slot will still be taken. I would recommend copying over your entire Brave profile onto your new computer - we already have a few threads talking about copying a Brave profile, please see:

You could try going to C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default and copying the contents from Default into a new Default folder from a new installation. Default will be your original profile, any other new profiles will be called Profile 1, Profile 2 and so on. note - this method is not perfect and some data may be lost

To back up everything I would make a copy of your Default profile folder to your Desktop. The Default folder can be found at: C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data. This folder will contain your bookmarks, extensions, etc. After making the new Brave installation, you can replace the new Default folder with your backup copy. However this may not work - its a workaround and not a solution. We understand people have issues with the 4 wallet limit and we’re working on that.
