Like many people here I am a huge fan of brave and brave search. And yet I am now planning switching browser and search engine. I most completely despise AI search! I did not ask for it, I do not want it and yet I now get that shoved down my throat, wherever I like it or not. Even with AI search disabled I still get “offers” to search with AI. And I still get AI answers, being the android version of brave the worst about this. I won’t detail here the reasons why I do not want AI search answers, I think plenty of people before already spoke about that. It is MY decision and long long time ago I vowed I will not fight my computer, it is supposed to do want I want. Life is too short for that. So, unless Brave decides to respect once again it’s users and stop the AI crap when they decide they don’t want it, I think it is time to move on. Brave team: you don’t need AI to tell you just how dumb this is. ---
