The keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+I) that supposedly brings up the developer tools doesn’t seem to work. I have to get it from the burger menu (which it where it tells me the shortcut).
@uzuki777 works for me. Have you perhaps somehow undone it? Go to Brave’s settings → system → shortcuts.
When you’re there, you can type in something like Dev to get to it faster:
When there you can see what your active shortcuts are. You can also add or delete shortcuts. For example, n the screenshot above I had removed the shortcut for Dev Tools Inspect and so it has Reset as an option. If I click to reset I then get the default Ctrl+Shift+C shortcut added again.
Using any extensions? Wondering if they might somehow be causing a conflict where it’s not working.
If not that, do you have any external programs with keybinds that might be kind of intercepting?
Ah you’re right! I set it as a shortcut in bitwarden. I changed it and now ctrl+shift+I is working.
