When protecting Private Tabs in Brave, the app uses the device’s system password or biometric authentication by default.
However, there is no option to set a separate, custom password specifically for Brave’s Private Tabs.
It would be very useful to allow users to set a custom password for Private Tabs, independent of the device’s system lock.
This would provide more flexibility and privacy for users who want an extra layer of protection inside the browser itself.
