The cookie dialog is blocked but the site has an overlay that prohibits interaction

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no)

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?

yes (I mean the problem appears)

@MaciejP Go to Settings (brave://settings/shields/filters) and copy the filter www.supercamps.co.uk###cookieOverlay and it should work.

Nope, the overlay disappears and the page can be scrolled but nothing responds to clicks

@MaciejP Do you mean this when you click on the box how the screenshot comes out? If so, it works for me. With the shield facing up.

Maybe that’s because you’re testing on Android? I’m on Windows 11

It works fine for me on Windows 11. How does the screenshot look? Did you delete all your data by chance? I started again on the page you mentioned: https://www.supercamps.co.uk/ and see if it works. If not, I recommend that you deactivate some extensions one by one, some of them may be blocking the page. Otherwise, try in settings/more tools/new profile without extensions and see if it worked or not.

This is how it looks for me (cannot attach as a new user):

I have no extensions. This reproduces on a fresh profile too.

The website seems to have this suspicious “inertBody” element:

I can’t hide it because it contains everything else, but the name suggests it might be a problem?

The cookieOverlay element does correctly have display: none !important applied to it but my inputs are still not getting through. There are no errors in the console.

The fix for supercamps went out, so no need for any custom rules for a fix

I can confirm that the overlay is gone even without the custom filter now, but the website still doesn’t accept clicks - like in the video.

Can anyone else reproduce inputs not being registered on this site, despite the overlay being gone?
