# Closing all tabs closes the browser

**When I close all of the tabs, the browser also gets closed.**  
**There should be a provision to take the browser to the homepage when the last tab will be closed.**

**As a result whenever the last tab will be closed, the browser still be running and will take you to home page**

**Brave Version( check `About Brave`):  
Version 1.27.59 Chromium: 91.0.4472.101 (Official Build) nightly (64-bit)**

Hello SanJo,

At the moment, the only way to circumvent this on Windows is to open up a new tab in a new Window before you close out the other ones, and then close out your other tabs.

Seems okay.  
But the problem is, since I have switched over from other browsers like Opera and Vivaldi, it is habit to close all tabs and still continue browsing with the homepage 😅
