Closes most recently opened tab when reopening

Description of the issue:

In a recent update brave will close the most recently opened tab after opening the browser back up

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Open new tab and go to a website
2. Close browser and do something else
3. Open browser back up and see the last tab briefly, then it closes without you doing anything

Expected result:

Keep all tabs and windows open unless closes by user

Thanks for confirming it’s not just me. Unfortunately it makes the browser unusable completely and I will have to abandon Brave unless it’s fixed fairly quickly.

It has been an issue for months. I don’t know if they enabled some sort of Memory Saving thing by default that we can’t disable via flags (like on the Desktop), or what. Definitely didn’t used to do this with older versions.
