Changes to the Brave Browser Default colour background

Did update for browser and the default white background has changed colour. Not able to reset back to original white back.

Have gone into settings and tried adjusting theme settings. Gone to light and dark mode no help. checked manage the brave://settings/manageProfile. No help

When on google webpage different back ground colour to white originally. Shows as white on Firefox but on brave the colour has changed to fawn colour really not sure what the colour is and the name for it.

And this affects all other pages opened and any website background opened. Tried search on internet but no help at all.

Any help would be great fully received.

Try:

Creating a new, user profile provides a clean slate, allowing you to compare performance without interference from your primary user profile’s configuration.

Brave Browser (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile). When creating:

  • Make no appearance adjustments other than to set user profile color at brave://settings/manageProfile.
  • Do not import anything.
  • Do not add any extensions.
  • Do not make any adjustments to content filtering at brave://settings/shields/filters.
  • Do not allow/enable any Brave Browser “bells and whistles” such as Brave News, Brave Rewards, Brave Sync, Brave Talk, etc.

After you create that new user profile, Exit / Quit everything and Restart the computer … and then start up Brave Browser and choose the new user profile for testing your issue.
